This Easter Egg Word Work will give your students hands on work with CVC words, word families and digraphs. Perfect addition to your April centers!

Teacher Prep:

• YOU WILL NEED TO PURCHASE EASTER EGGS. I get mine from the Dollar Tree.

How to Use:

• With a sharpie, write each word family or digraphs on the egg. Make sure you are writing the onset (beginning sound) on one side and the rime (vowels and letters following it) on the other side.
• Twist the egg to create and read the words.
• Print out the template you would like your students to use and have the corresponding easter eggs to go along with it.
