February Sentence Scramble | Centers | Kindergarten

This Editable February Sentence Scramble will give your students hands on work with sight word recognition and sentence writing. Perfect addition to your Valentines/February centers!

Teacher Prep:

• Print, cut, and laminate scrambled sentences. I use cardstock for durability.

How to Use:

• Student sort pictures with the same clipart. For example, they find all the words with hearts below it.
• Unscramble the sentence.
• Students record their sentence on the recording sheet next to the corresponding clipart.

Things to Know:

I teach my students that the first word in the sentence is green for go and the last punctation mark is red. This gives them more confidence and ability to complete the center by themselves!

This is a great center for students learning how to create sentences. Add the recording sheet to have the students practice writing the sentence after completing the scrambles.
