This is a four week informational unit to help kindergarten writers become confident writing all about books using facts they already know. Kindergarten students will learn the difference between fact/opinion, pick a topic they are an expert in, and learn about text features (table of contents, heading, and page numbers).
This unit goes through the book making process slowly by allowing students to complete at their own pace. Students will be met where they are developmentally with different book options.
